Dylan's music videos have premiered on but not limited to, CMT and Rolling Stone, showcasing his versatility. Currently working on projects like THE PROJECTION for FOX Digital and THEY CAME FROM BELOW with John Wells Productions. Dylan continues to push the boundaries of his artistic expression and solidify his position as a dynamic artist in the industry.
In addition to his accomplishments in filmmaking, Dylan Hayes is also a talented sculpture artist who has a unique approach to his craft. He works directly with found materials, scouring Los Angeles and upstate New York for forgotten treasures. Often, Dylan comes across large portions of cutdown trees or large stones that have journeyed down rivers for many years.
Drawing inspiration from his playful youth, Dylan believes that the materials themselves communicate with him, guiding him on what they want to become. He sees himself as a conduit of information, bridging the gap between artist and material. This approach allows Dylan to create sculptures that embody the essence and history of the materials, giving them new life and purpose in his artistic vision.
Through his sculpture work, Dylan Hayes showcases his ability to transform ordinary and overlooked objects into extraordinary pieces of art. His intuitive and collaborative process with the materials he finds reflects his deep connection to the artistic process and his commitment to bringing out the inherent beauty and stories within each piece.
